Yountville California
More To This Small Napa Valley Town Than Just WineriesThe village of Yountville California sits practically smack dab in the middle of idyllic Napa Valley.
Heading up the Highway 29 from Napa to St. Helena on your
Napa Valley wine tasting
excursion, you just might miss it if you blink too long. To get there, turn right on California Drive from Highway 29 heading north, then left on Washington.
Yountville is home to such notable attractions as the
Napa Valley Museum
famous restaurant French Laundry, the Parisian style bakery Bouchon, and at least a couple dozen of
Yountville wineries.

Bouchon in YountvilleIf you stop in the little village and walk around, you can find world class restaurants, antique shops, several art galleries and fine wine country inns.

For a fun activity besides wine tasting, you can rent a bike and meander down lanes with vineyard views, or take a
hot air balloon ride.
Yountville is also home to the Lincoln Theater, where a wide range of concert events are held, from symphonies to musicals to ethnic dance performances.
Check the Lincoln Theater schedule here.
To soak in the local ambiance on foot, stop by the Chamber Of Commerce on Washington and Oak to grab a Walking Historical Tour & Pathway Map, which will guide you to around 30 stops, five of which are on the National Register of Historic Places.
