Winery Weddings, The Ultimate

It is not too difficult to find a location that offers winery weddings. Not all wineries have the facilities are prepared to handle them, but if they do, the winery website will usually have some information about their facilities.
A wedding can be held in the wine cellar or wine caves for romantic, candlelit receptions. Others have special rooms within the winery which can hold a certain amount of guests. Most often, the wedding and/or reception can be held outdoors, overlooking the vineyards. Some can incorporate all three into your event. For example, the ceremony could be out on the lawn with a gazebo, with an hors d'oerves and wine reception on a patio or inside the wine tasting room (while the wedding party has photographs taken with vineyard views), followed by a candlelit dinner in the wine cellar. Perhaps dancing under the stars?
Some wineries offer their own catering, while others allow you to bring offsite caterers in. Most will want you to use their wine for your reception.
Another consideration when choosing a winery for your wedding is how close is it to the nearest airport for your out of town guests? Is there a nearby or onsite inn for them to stay in?
