Taking a wine tasting limo tour through wine country is relaxing and enjoyable.

One reason to take a tour is so you can forget about hassling with maps and directions. Just sit back, relax, taste wine and leave the navigating to someone else.

Another reason may be that you just want to see wine country in style and luxury. When inquiring about a company’s limousine service to wine country, ask if they go to certain wineries or if you can choose them. Do they include beverages? Lunch? If not, do they offer a gourmet picnic lunch you can order in advance? Or do they stop at a certain restaurant for lunch?

For vans, minibuses and coaches, is a guide included? Are there other people, couples, groups put in with your party or is it private?

Many limousine services will pick up at the airport or area hotels and bed & breakfasts. Ask if this is the case, and if they charge extra.

Also, find out what, if any, extra fees are added in. Do they charge per hour or per passenger or both? A standard gratuity is usually added, but not always. Make sure you know, as many drivers depend on tips for their livelihood. Additional tips for exceptional service are optional.
