Wine Country Vegetarian Feast For Two

I'd love to head down a country road with this hand-woven natural European willow basket piled full of tasty picnic goodies, like a bottle of 2007 California Sonoma Valley Chardonnay, redolent of apple and citrus notes, and drink a toast to a sunny day in a picturesque setting. Also secreted in this basket are six ounces of locally aged Monterey Jack cheese, and six ounces of imported smoked Edam cheese.

For dessert, you will find four ounces each of organic Mission figs, dried apricots and Pistachio nuts, all from California. Mmmm, what a treat for a day of leisure. Let us not forget the bread: one sourdough baguette and a paring knife.

Oh yum, plus two wineglasses, a corkscrew, two plates, two hand woven cotton napkins and a matching square tablecloth. Can you picture the breeze on the grass and hear the music of the birds in the trees? Give someone (or yourself) a memorable picnic in the country and don't forget to bring your trusty sunhat!
