The perfect basket should include both a red and white wine. A pair of casual drinking glasses should also be included. A couple of small boxes of chocolates or truffles are a nice touch. Two or three scented candles with holders can be added. Confections individually wrapped in bright paper sprinkled throughout the basket is lovely. A clear vase with flattened marbles shining thru, and others scattered in the basket itself.

Specialty shops sell crackers and biscuits in 2 serving sizes that can be included. It’s nice to receive sample like items of different products. Best part, they can be enjoyed with the wine or later with a tea or coffee. These items can be placed in the basket as is, or separately wrapped for extra excitement when being opened. A surprise within a surprise.

To take this ‘over the top’, a nice addition is a pretty bottle of bubble bath and body lotion. If using miniature sizes, several can be added with different fragrances. All this in a reusable basket or keepsakes box make a beautiful and appreciated gift.
