Temecula Winery Tours
There are several wineries in the valley that offer Temecula winery tours. Are you one of those people who love dark, dank caves with that fantastic musty smell of wine? I am. In fact, to me, that's the best thing about winery tours, the smell. And the wine tasting that comes at the end. It's also fun to hear the gude tell about the history of the winery. If the tour includes the vineyard, all the better. Different seasons bring different activities to view as well as stages of the vines. Tip: Touring during the weekdays, particularly during harvest season can provide the most interesting Temecula winery tours because you can see the winery staff really at work. But pruning and bottling make other times of year fascinating as well. However, during harvest, you'll also have less of a chance to chat with the wine maker, who will most likely be very busy. Not all wineries offer tours, and not all are free. For larger parties, always call in advance. The following
