The Temecula Valley Balloon

If you want to ride in a hot air balloon at sunrise with about 50 other balloons, you can book it in advance with A Grape Escape Hot Air Balloon Adventure. A child must be at least 48 inches tall to ride. Champagne and/or orange juice is included. For reservations, call 1-800-965-2122.
In the evening, tied down balloons will glow and dance to the beat of the music, providing a spectacular vision.
The festival has wine tasting and food pairing for an additional price. Several Temecula Valley wineries will be participating.
Admission to the festival costs $22 on Friday. Kids 6 and under are free. On Saturday, admission is $25, with kids 7-12 costing $5. On Sunday, adults are $17, with kids 7-12 costing $5. This includes entertainment and concerts, but food and wine tasting costs extra. Parking is $5.

The festival runs Friday 5p-10pm, Saturday 6am to 10pm and Sunday 6am to 6pm.
To get to the Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine festival, take the Interstate 15 and get off on Rancho California Road or Winchester Road. Head east about 10 miles and look for signs to Lake Skinner, which is on Warren Road in Winchester, California.
