Surprise Corporate Gift

I remember it quite clearly, even though I now longer work for the company. I actually was only a temp at the time. I was working as an Assistant to the Senior Vice President of Government Relations. Christmas season was upon us and my supervisor took all of those employees directly under her out to lunch. It was actually a really nice lunch at this 5-star restaurant.

At the end of lunch, my supervisor handed out gifts she had gotten for each employee. I was actually shocked she had gotten me something because I was not a permanent employee. She handed me a beautifully wrapped box. I opened it and inside was a sterling silver charm bracelet. The bracelet had different ball designs hanging from it in Christmas colors of red and green. I loved it! It was very classic chic, but most of all, I loved the thought that was put into it. This woman who wasn't even my permanent boss knew me so well.
