Find Sonoma Lodging
Hotels In Wine CountryHere you can find Sonoma lodging for your visit to wine country. Healdsburg and Santa Rosa in northern Sonoma County also have hotels and bed and breakfast inns. The links below will take you to a list of accommodations ranked in order of popularity, with best prices and traveler's reviews. If you will be touring the
Sonoma Valley wineries
, the most convenient option is to stay in the historic town of Sonoma itself. In this town, there are both
bed and breakfasts
and hotels to choose from.
Nearby, quiet little
Glen Ellen
has some bed and breakfast inns.
Over on Highway 101, Santa Rosa is a larger city and provides more lodging options. Highway 12 will take you into the northern end of Sonoma Valley, or you can drive a bit north and tour the Russian River Valley wine region.
Further up the 101 is the town of
Healdsburg.
Much like Sonoma, it is built around a town square. Several wineries are within walking distance of the square, if you like to do your wine tasting on foot. Just out of town are the Dry Creek Valley wineries to the northwest, the Alexander Valley wineries to the east, and the Russian River Valley wineries to the south. Healdsburg is the perfect place to stay for a full weekend of touring wine country. There are several more bed and breakfasts in Healdsburg than there are hotels.
