Shenandoah Valley Wineries
The Shenandoah Valley Wine TrailShenandoah Valley wineries are found in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, which is bordered by the Alleghany Mountains in the west, the Blue Ridge Mountains in the east, and extends from the West Virginia line in the north to the James River in the south. This wine country is only about an hour’s drive from Washington DC, which makes for the perfect day trip. The following wineries are considered part of the Shenandoah Valley Wine Trail of Virginia. They are all open to the public for wine tasting and some of them have tours as well. Most are found along Interstate 81. Each listing provides information on tasting room hours, location, whether any tours are offered and other features.
