Santa Ynez Wine Country Weddings

There are several places for Santa Ynez wine country weddings in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley, northeast of Santa Barbara. This wine country area is a popular place to go wine tasting, especially in Los Olivos and around Solvang

Indoors there is a wine cellar with a dining table available, while outside there is a garden surrounded by roses right next to a patio with a fireplace.

Firestone Winery

This winery won The Knot's 2010 pick for best reception area. They have mountain and vineyard views. You can choose from a courtyard, a garden, the terrace or the barrel room.They'll provide a list of caterers they approve. The Vineyard Mesa (for ceremonies only) is on a lawn amongst the vineyards up above the valley. The Terrace has a great view of hills, mountains and vineyards. The Garden is between The Terrace and the tasting room. Mainly used for the post ceremony/pre dinner reception. The Courtyard has oak trees with lights. The Tasting Room has tiled floors and a redwood interior. The Barrel Room And Deck has a redwood tasting bar. Wrought iron chandeliers add to the effect.

Gainey Vineyards

Gainey has five separate areas for your event. The Spanish style Tasting Room has a large fireplace, french antique furniture, and windows looking out at vineyards and mountains. The Patio is next to the tasting room and has a lawn that is surrounded by vineyards and oak trees. There are BBQ facilities. Next to the vineyard is the Picnic Area, which has large shady oak trees and is used for ceremonies and receptions. The Courtyard is a large outdoors grassy circle with sycamore trees shading it and a cement circle surrounding it. There are also Santa Ynez wine country vineyard and mountain views. The Ranch is half a mile away and boasts a country setting, oak trees, and an old barn from the 1890's. You can use an outside caterer in their kitchen or let them cater a Santa Ynez-style Barbeque affair.

Lincourt Vineyards

This winery used to be a dairy farm. The tasting room is in the farmhouse, while the barrel rooms are in the barn. The North Lawn is surrounded by oak trees and flowers. Views of the vineyard. The Verandah overlooks the vineyard and boasts pepper trees. The Barrel Staging Area is outdoors and has views of the tasting room. The Barrel Room is filled with oak barrels and antique chandeliers.

Sunstone Winery & Vineyards

They only rent out their site, but you need to provide all the food, rentals, decor, etc., however, they can refer you to an approved coordinator. Most ceremonies are held in the courtyard. The Tasting room is used for the reception. The dinner can be held in the Cuvee Cave, which you get to through the barrel aging hallway. The Cuvee Cave has wood burning fireplace and chandeliers.
