Pinot Grigio Gift Basketby anonymous submission
An ideal basket would include a nice a bottle of Pinot Grigio. I don't need anything too expensive, just something that tastes good. I would be very happy if a gift card to the Olive Garden was included. I could order take out and bring it home to enjoy with my delicious bottle of wine. Olive Garden has a wide variety of foods that go well with Pinot Grigio. Food with a light amount of cheese, pasta or pizza are a perfect fit. And, Italian food is always better with a glass of wine, or 2! I love cheese and wine, but I prefer goat cheese. Light cheeses go well with Pinot Grigio so I'd rather stay away from goat Gouda and steer more towards a more fluffy type. It's easy for Pinot Grigio to overpower goat cheese, but I'm not too picky. A good cracker also is needed to fully enjoy the wine. I like whole wheat or charcoal crackers. It's hard to go wrong with a wine gift basket. I'm not very picky when it comes to wine and would just love something simple to enjoy! |
