If I was customizing a gift basket for someone, I would choose some good wines that I have tasted before. I would also put in some cheeses, an assortment of crackers and breads I have tried. I would include some custom engraved wine glasses and maybe some monogram napkins. It is all about the person I am giving it to and what their tastes and interests are. If they like red or white wine and if they like pate or blue cheese. Putting some thought into the gift is what it is all about. I once received a bottle of red wine and some Clemson Blue Cheese made near the college I went to which was Clemson in South Carolina. The college is famous for their agricultural program and is made on the Clemson University property from the milk of the cows that they breed there. I have always loved strong cheeses but they are not for everyone. A mild brie cheese is usually the cheese to buy if they do not like the stronger cheeses. Another cheese is a mild cheddar or monterey jack. |
