See Wine Country From The Napa Wine Train
A great way to experience wine country is from aboard the Napa Wine Train.
The train travels between Napa and St. Helena in the
Napa Valley
of Sonoma County. It's a three-hour ride that takes you for a total of 36 miles roundtrip.
The Napa Wine Train has 9 vintage Pullman railcars, four parlor cars, four dining cars and a kitchen car. A Wine Tasting Car, Lounge Cars and Vista Dome Railcars are great for viewing the gorgeous wine country landscape. The train makes two winery tour stops, but this could change.
The Napa Valley Wine Train Depot is right in downtown Napa on McKinstry Street, not far from the Copia Wine Center. The depot has a cafe, art gallery, shops, free parking and an Amtrak bus connection depot.
There are several options and upgrades available for your ride. There are luncheon rides, gourmet dinner rides, murder mystery dramas, concerts and more. Three different restaurant cars are available as choices. The basic scenic round trip fare is $49.50, which doesn't include the gourmet lunch. For more information, call 707-253-2111 or 800-427-4124.
Also, you can book a Napa Valley Wine Train tour online through Viator. They give miles for Delta, American Airlines and United.
