There are so many wineries in world famous Napa Valley, that it is easy to get overwhelmed with choices. While it can be fun to just hit the road and stop wherever and whenever the fancy strikes you, (such as when you see a winery you've heard of, or like the look of a particular vineyard or chateau), you may find it is open only for appointments, or doesn't have a tour. Or you may suddenly realize it is closing time and you've barely made it up the valley.
With this list, you can skim through and pick out wineries that appeal to you, check out their hours and locations and plan accordingly. Once you're out amongst the vineyards of Napa Valley, you can act on a whim and change course if you so choose.
