One of the best ways to utilize these magical wine country
settings are to have your ceremony in one area, perhaps in
the gardens, then your reception in another area, such as a
tasting room, patio or courtyard with vineyard views, then
have your dinner in the candlelit wine caves for an Old
World atmosphere.
Copia
500 First Street, Napa
While not strictly a winery, but more of an educational wine,
food and art center, Copia is wine country to the nth
degree. They've got amazing views and top notch catering.
You can hold your wedding and reception outdoors in one of
two garden locations. Various indoor venues are available
as well, where your guests can enjoy beautiful views and/or
artwork. They will accommodate 20-1000 guests. Call

Merryvale Vineyards
1000 Main Street, St. Helena
You can hold your wedding in their historic Cask Room for a
memorable and unique setting. Wine and hors d'oevres are
served in the tasting cellar, followed by a tour of the winery.
The gourmet dinner then commences in the candlelit Cask
room, lined with old casks along stone walls. They can accommodate up to 112 guests. Call 800-326-6069.
Monticello Vineyards
4242 Big Ranch Road, Napa
Their Jefferson House Dining Room can hold up to 22
guests with 16 more in the adjoining foyer. The Jefferson
House Terrace can hold up to 40 seated guests for al fresco
dining, overlooking the gardens. Out on the grounds, up to

V. Sattui Winery
1111 White Lane, St. Helena
Located right in the heart of the Napa Valley, this winery is
in a stone building covered with vines. The front patio has
a large fountain. There are small terraces in front, leading
down to a courtyard where the wedding takes place. The
dinner can be held outside or in the candlelit, stone wine
cellar.
You can choose to use Wine Valley Catering or choose from

Hans Fahden Vineyards
4855 Petrified Forest Road, Calistoga
They have both indoor and outdoor wedding sites. There is
a Teahouse for small groups, and gorgeous French country
style gardens below. There are lovely touches to the
setting, such as a pond, a covered bridge, and various wild
birds.
The indoor building boasts a grand piano in addition to
natural design elements. Receptions can be held in here,
while the dinner can be served in the adjoining candlelit
cave made of volcanic ash rock. It holds up to 120 guests.
