You can find Napa Valley hotels in the towns of Calistoga, St. Helena, Yountville and of course, Napa. Each of these towns would make an ideal spot to base your Napa Valley wine tasting from.
At the Northern end of Napa Valley is the town of Calistoga, famous for its hot springs and spas. Wineries abound as well.

About halfway through Napa Valley off Highway 29 is the small village of Yountville. The very famous restaurant French Laundry is located here. Beware, as you need reservations well in advance.
