Eastern Va Wineries

The Northern Neck Wine Trail
and Heart of Virginia Wine Trail

The following Eastern Va Wineries are part of the Eastern Wine Region of Virginia. They are all open to the public for wine tasting and some of them for tours as well. Each listing provides information on tasting room hours, location, whether any tours are offered and other features.

Near Chesapeake Bay and running between the Rappahannock River and Potomac River is the Northern Neck Wine Trail of Virginia. Below are four wineries that make up this wine trail.

Athena Vineyards and Winery

Belle Mount Vineyards

Gift shop and picnic area.
Winery is part of Heritage Park Resort, with camping, cabin rentals, hiking trails, swimming and fishing. You can reserve a canoe to paddle in Cat Point Creek.

Ingleside Vineyards

Tasting fee $2.50 includes souvenir wine glass.

Oak Crest Vineyard & Winery

The rest of the Eastern Va wineries are spread out a bit. The James River Wine Cellars and Lake Anna Winery are also considered part of the Heart of Virginia Wine Trail which has more wineries in the Central Va Wine Region.

Lake Anna Winery

Three miles from the lake, with swimming, boating and fishing.

Williamsburg Winery

Tour with tasting for $7 includes keepsake wine glass.
$25 reserve wine tastings by appointment includes cheese and cracker sampler and large keepsake wine glass.
$22 for a tour and tasting with lunch in the Gabriel Archer Tavern. Includes keepsake wine glass. By appointment only.
The Gabriel Archer Tavern is also open daily for lunch (without tour or tastings).
Open for dinner seasonally.
